I would like to start off by saying that I am a faithful tithe giver. I remember the first time I committed to giving my tithes to God through my home church Grace Bible Fellowship. I was in New Members Class and Pastor Smith asked anyone who was willing to commit to faithfully give tithes to raise their hand so I raised my hand. At that time I had no idea that the Pastor was going to ask us (the people who raised their hands) to stand up in service to be prayed for by the congregation. To my surprise I stood up with my tithes up lifted in my hands and everyone bowed their heads and started to pray. I was so very nervous I can't even remember the pray entirely but I know it powerful. I am a single parent of three children and I sometimes have to wonder if I will be able to pay all of my bills. That same morning I was committing to paying my tithes I had a 15 day notice for the PG&E. I could have paid it in full but I would not have enough for my tithes, so I went out on faith. That Monday I was granted a fee of $688.00 dollars for my PG&E bill through a program I had applied for. That was six months ago and I still have not paid a PG&E bill yet every time the billing period ends and I receive a bill it says no payment due. I like to thank the Lord Jesus Christ, Pastor Smith and First Lady as well as the Saints of Grace Bible Fellowship. I have not looked back since then I pay tithes on a regular basis and truth be told I am afraid to not pay my tithes. I have since then gotten a job that doubles what I get paid now so my tithes will increase and you better know that I will be more than happy to pay the increase. Now if that isn't God then I don't know what is.

I would like to start off by saying "God is Good"! About a month and 1/2 ago me and the love of my life of three years, got married. For the past year and 1/2 we have been faithful in our tithes. Since then we have never went hungry or been without anything we needed, but we were still lacking in a major area , which was fornication; Not to mention our own personal flaws and sinful ways. In the beginning of our relationship it wasn't a big deal to us because we weren't serious in our walk with god. Finally we decided we needed to become abstinent until we got married, but we continued to slip over and over. We'd even get on our knees and ask for forgiveness but it was the same pattern. We finally decided we weren't going to worry about money and having a big wedding so we went and got married. From that day after Jan, 25th our life changed right away. Now two weeks before we got married, I got a call from my mother saying my uncle on my dad's side was trying to reach me. See back in November my grandfather from Peoria, Illinois had passed away. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend the funeral, but I had the chance to visit him two years prior. I hadn't seen him in ten years before that. Even though he lived so far we always talked on the phone and had a great long distance relationship. So I was given my uncle's number and I called him the next day when I went to work. His wife answered and said he wasn't home and gave me the news. She said my grandfather had left me in his will. He said to sell his house and me and my two older cousins were to split the money !!! Hallelujah!! I said "Praise God" she said I would get the money when I was 35 yrs old so it would be put in a trust fund until then. Now at my age (22) I would love to have that kind of money, but I was fine with waiting for the money because I realized god had blessed my future and I could take care of my kids and things like that by that time. She said she'd have my uncle give me a call. When I hung up the phone I went to the bathroom at work and cried and praised god for the rest of my break!!! In the meantime god was moving rapidly in my life like never before. I found myself reading my bible everyday, which I had never done before. I was now reading also at work on every lunch and break I had. God had given me the passion and hunger for his word. It was like reading one of those black author books with all the juicy stories and it was a page turner. Now two weeks had passed and I hadn't heard from my uncle. I really wanted to get copies of all my info so I could keep up with it myself. So I decided to call him on a Saturday morning. No one was home so I left a message and he immediately called me back. We talked and he asked me a question his wife didn't ask me. He said "Are you Married?" I said, "Actually I just got married two weeks ago". He said " Well that changes things, you'll get the money as soon as the house is sold since you're married". Hallelujah!! See God is good. I believe he is just waiting to bless us, but when we're disobedient we block our blessings when they're so close. I just asked god to let me not think about that money and let it come when he's ready to give it to me because god is always on time. He was just waiting for us to stop fornicating and get married so he could bless us. I know for sure, the first thing I will do is give my tithes!! Now thats a boo-yow blessing. I encourage everyone to tithe because we can't afford not to!! And if you're struggling with disobedience get on your knees and admit you like doing whatever sin is enslaving you, ask for deliverance, sincerely, and god will set you free!! Thanks for listening!! God Bless!!!

Our family our faithful tithers and God truly does reward those who are faithful to him. I recently lost my husband last month. As I was paying the bills I noticed our only 1 credit card bill had a protection fee charge of $57. I immediately called the company to advise them to remove the charge because I will not lose my credit card and it was a charge I could not afford. Now, I was under the impression the charge was to cover the account in the event the card was lost or stolen and someone would use it as identity theft. The company told me to call the number shown in that they maybe able to help me since my husband is now deceased. I called and the representative advised me not to worry because due to the death of my husband the bill is now paid in full-the $57 charge fee was an insurance fee (to my surprise). God is so good the debt was $8,000 and now it is paid in full. My testimony is trust in God and give God his 10% plus if you can. Thank you Pastor Smith/First Lady for teaching my family the importance of tithing and how it all relates to scriptural text.
